Welcome to my blog about musicals and concerts!
I have been a fan of musicals ever since my Mum took me to see my very first musical, which was Fame in Stockholm, in April 1993. I have a lot of favourite musicals, but one stands out above and beyond all the others, Les Misérables. I have seen it live in a minor production in Karlstad (in 1995?, I think) and in London - and I have of course watched the Tenth Anniversary Concert and the 25th Anniversary DVD countless times (and I have a number of different recordings as well).
So, what's the story on this blog, then?
Well, the idea is to be able to write reviews on musicals and concerts I've seen, and I'm now thinking it will be both current and past, both live and on recordings - meaning I have a lot of work to do on this blog! :)
I try to see at least a couple of musicals a year, and of course I will write reviews on them here, but at this point I would like to collect everything that has to do with musicals (and concerts) in one place, meaning I'd like to write about things I have already seen, earlier, as well.
Some reviews have already been published, in my other blogs, but I will copy those reviews here as well (so if you have been following my other blogs, you have probably already read these). I also would like to go back and try to write something about even earlier musical experiences (I started my first "real" blog in the fall of 2006, I think) - but these will probably not be "reviews" in the strictest sense, as I have no notes from these productions, sometimes I don't even have programmes - but I still would like to make at least a short post about them.
